The year is 1992, and experienced news correspondent Michael Henderson (Stephen Dillane) and his team report from Sarajevo. This cosmopolitan city that was once full of thriving cafes and boutiques is now a war zone with an ever-present danger of sniper fire and mortar attacks. Whilst there, Henderson visits an orphanage and decides to take one of the children illegally back to England, assisted by American aid worker Nina.
